Hello and Welcome!

I am a BACP registered, person - centred counsellor and I support women through life's challenges and transitions - including bereavement, difficult life events, low mood, stress and anxiety, low self-esteem, family issues and relationship difficulties. I also have an additional specialism supporting mums/birthing parents - including pregnancy and post-natal support. You can read more about the areas that I can help you with here.
Whatever the challenges are that you are facing, I will provide you with a space that is free of judgement and where both you and your experiences will be safely held. I will support you in feeling better and in finding solutions that work for you; helping you to bring about lasting change.

My counselling approach is supportive, compassionate, and tailored towards your individual needs. I also work with the healing benefits of nature to facilitate self-connection and personal growth and to restore emotional wellbeing. You can read more about my therapy approach here.

I offer counselling in nature (from a beautiful cabin in woodland or walk and talk), in-person counselling and online counselling (nationwide). You can choose the location and type of session that feels most comfortable for you.
Whether we meet in nature, in more traditional therapy rooms or online, I offer a warm, welcoming, and supportive space in which you can talk things through. I will help you to process any difficult thoughts, feelings and emotions and, together, we will untangle the complexities of whatever it is that you are going through and find a meaningful path forward.

I know that finding the right person to talk to can feel daunting and confusing and so I offer a FREE initial call and a reduced cost first session, which will help you get a sense of what it might be like to work with me and to ensure you feel comfortable from the outset.
Please also feel free to have a look at my website which contains further information about me , my therapy approach and the ways to work with me and which also includes an FAQ page containing further details on sessions and fees. If you feel ready to take the next step or if you have any questions, I would love to hear from you.
Thank you for considering me as part of your therapeutic journey.

Areas of Expertise
Women - I support women with life's challenges and transitions. I understand what it is like to feel low, anxious, lost or disconnected and just how overwhelming this can feel when juggling various roles and responsibilities. I will walk alongside you as you explore any challenges that you are facing- nurturing your personal growth and emotional wellbeing and helping you to restore a sense of balance. You can read more about what I offer here.
Mums - I understand that motherhood is a time when you may be feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, anxious and isolated. You are not alone - I am here to help you to navigate any difficulties you may be facing, to grow in confidence and to build resilience. You can read more about how I support mums/birthing parents here.

Nature - I offer the opportunity to meet in nature, in addition to more traditional indoor and online sessions. The natural world offers a grounding and restorative therapeutic space, away from the hustle and bustle of life, fostering both self - reflection and healing. If you are feeling disconnected, overwhelmed by life or full of stress, working with the natural benefits of being outside will help you to balance your nervous system, gain new perspectives and to feel more connected to both yourself and to the world around you. You can read more about meeting in nature here

Next Steps....
I know how important it is to find a counsellor that is right for you and so I offer a FREE 15 - 20 MINUTE CONNECTION CALL, where we can meet each other (online or on the telephone).
The call will not be a therapy session, but will give us the opportunity to have an informal chat, to explore if we are able to do some meaningful work together, and will help us to ascertain if I am the right fit for you. You are welcome to ask me any questions. You can book an initial call here.
There is no commitment to have further sessions with me after the call.

I hope we have the opportunity to work together.

I would love to hear from you if you have any questions about the services that I offer.
