Counsellor in Lewes

In - Person Counselling

Lewes / Ringmer / Uckfield

I offer in - person counselling for women and mums / birthing parents from therapy rooms in Upper Stoneham - located a stone's throw from Lewes, Ringmer and Uckfield.

The therapy rooms are located in the countryside and form part an old converted granary -  full of rustic and earthy charm.  The rooms are secluded, cosy and provide a sense of homecoming from first arrival. They have also been intentionally designed to help connect you to nature.

Many clients who come to these therapy rooms find that the non-clinical setting helps them to feel both relaxed and comfortable.

There is free parking and good public transport to Uckfield, Lewes and Tunbridge Wells/Brighton (the bus stop is located just down the lane). Maps of the location are here.

Sessions last 50 minutes and are open-ended, allowing you as much time and space as you need.

You can read more about what to expect here.

Sessions are on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with some evening availability

In addition to in-person sessions, I also offer online therapy and outdoor therapy.

Further information on sessions and fees can be found on my FAQ page, but do get in touch if you have any questions.

Woodland Counselling

Hadlow Down
(close to Uckfield Heathfield, Horam and Crowborough)

I offer woodland counselling from a cosy cabin known as "The Heath Hut" located at Wilderness Wood in Hadlow Down, East Sussex. The woodburner keeps us cosy and warm in the winter and the skylight looks up to the tree canopy above. The Health Hut is nestled in a secluded and private spot under the trees - herbal tea also included!

Many clients who come to the hut find that being surrounded by nature helps to create a sense of ease and openness that is not always easy to find in more traditional style therapy rooms. It also provides a sanctuary away from the bustle of everyday life, helping you to gain a sense of presence for your sessions and to feel supported and nourished by the natural surroundings.

The health hut is conveniently only a short walk from a (free) car park at the woods, with easy access on foot.

I work as part of a holistic collective of practitioners promoting wellbeing in nature at the hut and you can read more about what is on offer at the hut here: https://www.wildernesswood.org/wellbeing.

Book a Connection Call

I offer a FREE 15 - 20 MINUTE CONNECTION CALL

We can have a brief, informal chat — online or by phone — to explore whether working together feels like the right fit for you. This isn’t a therapy session, just a relaxed opportunity to ask any questions and to get a feel for how I work.

There is no obligation to book any sessions afterwards.
