Welcome

Hello and Welcome!

I am a BACP registered, person - centred counsellor supporting women through all stages of life, including difficult life events (past and present), emotional challenges and life stages / transitions.  I can support you with bereavement, low mood, anxiety, low self-esteem, family issues, relationship difficulties, peri-menopause/menopause... and more. I also have an additional specialism in perinatal and postnatal mental health. You can read about the areas that I can help you with here.

Whatever the challenges are that you are facing, I will provide you with a space that is free of judgement and where both you and your experiences will be safely held. I will support you in feeling better and in finding solutions that work for you; helping you to bring about lasting change.

My counselling approach is supportive, compassionate, and tailored towards your individual needs. I also work with the healing benefits of nature to facilitate self-connection, a sense of belonging, personal growth and to restore emotional wellbeing. You can read more about my therapy approach here.

Whether we meet in nature, in more traditional therapy rooms or online, I offer a warm, welcoming, and supportive space in which you can talk things through. I will help you to process any difficult thoughts, feelings and emotions and, together, we will untangle the complexities of whatever it is that you are going through and find a meaningful path forward.

I know that finding the right person to talk to can feel daunting and confusing and so I offer a FREE initial call and a reduced cost first session, which will help you get a sense of what it might be like to work with me and to ensure you feel comfortable from the outset.

Please also feel free to have a look at my website which contains further information about me , my therapy approach and the ways to work with me and which also includes an FAQ  page containing further details on sessions and fees.

If you feel ready to take the next step or if you have any questions, I would love to hear from you.

Thank you for considering me as part of your therapeutic journey.

Hattie

I support women with difficult life events, life challenges and transitions. I understand what it is like to feel low, anxious, lost or disconnected and just how overwhelming this can feel when juggling various roles and responsibilities. I will walk alongside you as you explore any challenges that you are facing- nurturing your personal growth and emotional wellbeing and helping you to restore a sense of balance

I understand that motherhood is a time when you may be feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, anxious and isolated.  You may be experiencing relationship struggles or want a space to reflect on your own family dynamic and the way you were parented.

I am here to support you with any difficulties you may be facing and to grow in confidence on your parenting journey.

I am experienced in supporting mums with all aspects of early motherhood, including pregnancy and the post-natal period.

You can read more about how I support mums/birthing parents here.

Walk and talk

I offer walk and talk sessions on Ashdown Forest - working with the natural benefits of walking to improve mood, reduce feelings of stress and anxiety and help you feel more connected to both yourself and to the world around you.

You can read more about walk and talk therapy here.

Next Steps....

I offer a FREE 15 - 20 MINUTE CONNECTION CALL, where we can meet each other (online or on the telephone).

The call will not be a therapy session, but will give us the opportunity to have an informal chat, to explore if we are able to do some meaningful work together, and will help us to ascertain if I am the right fit for you. You are welcome to ask me any questions. You can book an initial call here.

There is no commitment to book any sessions with me after the call.
